AJA has been involved with the Australia Day Multicultural Parade for nearly 20 years. However, because of the Covid pandemic, the council has decided to celebrate it in different way. There are many wonderful new events which will be taking place.  Some more information is below. 

AJA was asked to help out the events and some of AJA's members and friends will participate in the event as below.

  • Originally Market Kitchen would be in Adelaide Central Market Now the venue will be Gawler Place, Rundle Mall as the Covid safe situation changed - Cooking on Thursday 20 January at 12pm
    AJA's new member, Michelle Toratani is doing cooking demonstration, and Kyoko will be the assistant for Michelle. Please come along and support us.  

  • Gawler Place Canopy, Rundle Mall – Performance on Tuesday 25 January at 11:40am
    ★Miya and Mimi will dance with beautiful Kimono with Japanese flute called Shinobue by James and Umehara san who is a new member of AJA. 

    ★Miya is one of the models in the photo below, the second from the left, wearing a purple T-shirt.
