 Adelaide Giants Japan Day 2022 Report


This event, welcomed and celebrated the Japanese University Junko Baseball Teams visit to the Adelaide Giants between 24 - 26 November. On the Saturday 26th, it was a special day called Japan Day. Where two friendly matches between the Adelaide Giants and Melbourne Aces happened.
１１月２４日から２６日まで、日本の大学準硬式野球部の選抜チーム、総勢７０名がアデレードに遠征に来ました。アデレードのプロ野球チーム、アデレードジャイアンツがこの遠征の受け入れ先となり、親善試合をしたりして交流をし、１１月２６日は、アデレードジャイアンツによる歓迎のジャパンデーイベントが開催されました。

The Japan Day Event details were;

  • Happened on the Saturday 26th November
  • At the Adelaide Giants Diamond Sports Stadium in West Beach,     Lot 2, Barratt Reserve,　West Beach Road,　West Beach 5024
  • Pre-Game/Opening performance
    • Japanese music by Adelaide Kimono Choir
    • Team introductions ( Members of AG and MA)
    • Japanese National Anthem by Adealdie Kimono Choir
    • Australian National Anthem by Nathan
  • Games were
    • (Giants VS All Japan Uni)
    • (All Japan VS Kanto)
    • Adelaide Giants vs Melbourne Aces
    • Post Game - On the stadium big screen FIFA World Cup Soccer Australia vs Tunisia
