●Hina dolls display●
お雛様七段飾りの展示
As the 3rd of March in Japan is a traditional day called Hinamatsuri.
Hinamatsuri is a day to cereblate girls health and wellbeing.
Families who have girls prepare Hina Dolls and decorate it at home.
Inside of Slade Building in Glandore Community Centre.
One of AJA members kindly offered her Hina Dolls set to dislpay. 
There are many styles of Hina Dolls and they look so adorable and pretty.

Ask our volunteers to make your favourite shape of Origami
Or you can show off what you can make with a origami paper

Get your name written in Japanese letters with a calligraphy brush
名前をひらがな、カタカナ、漢字で書いてもらいましょう



●Yukata Try On For Kids●

Taking photos in front of the Hina Dolls is very Japanese.
So why don't you get your daughter(s) to wear adorable Yukata on and take a photo in front of our Hina Dolls which will be desplayed inside of the Slade Building.

Have you tasted Matcha green tea before? 
AJA volunteers who have learnt Japanese Tea Ceremony will make a beautiful fruffy Matcha for you.
Before you taste the Matcha green tea, we will serve you a small sweets to helo the bitterness of the tea.
And you will be able to feel Zen and make you feel calm.

Hina Dolls Display 
ひな人形展示

Hinamatsuri, also known as Doll's Day or Girls' Day, 
is a traditional Japanese festival



One of AJA members, to decolate her precious Hina Dolls when she was given by her parents. 

昨年に引き続き、AJAメンバーの方から大切なお雛様七巻飾りをお借りして
会場の一室に飾りますので、皆さんもぜひご覧になってくださいね。

It is a good photo taking place in front of the Hina Dolls too. 
特に小さいお子さんのいらっしゃる方は、ぜひこのお雛様飾りのそばで
記念写真を撮ってはいかがでしょうか？

ひな祭りピクニック

Let's celebrate Hinamatsuri and have a BYO picnic by bringing your picnic items to enjoy the day at the Glandore Community Centre which has a beautiful lawn and shady areas, a Rotunda, toilets, playground and so on.

ご家族お友達で集まって楽しいピクニックをしませんか？

会場のグランドアコミュニティーセンターの庭は
こじんまりとしていますが、木陰やロタンダなどがあり、
遊技場もありますもので、安心してお子さんたちを遊ばせることもできます。

遊技場のそばには、BBQグリルもあります。

もし、お子様がおおきくなってしまって、もう出して飾っていないんですよ、、、とおっしゃる方がいましたら、この機会にぜひそのお雛様を持ってきて、他の皆さんのお雛様と一緒にかざりませんか？大きさは大きくても小さくてもかまいません。
We would like to display Hina Dolls in one room in Slade Building in Glandore Community Centre. If anyone who has Hina Doll, please bring them and let's display them with other Hina Dolls.

マーケットストールの内容 This market is for:

自分の不要になった物たちを売ったりあげたりして断捨離したいと思っている方、

日本的・和風な小物、食べ物などを作っている人達で、それらを売りたい人のため

個人のスモールビジネスをしている方たちで宣伝をしたい方

日本人以外の人でも、和食や和風な物を扱うビジネスをしている方の参加も大歓迎です

個人でも団体やグループでの参加でもどちらも大歓迎です
