Please come along with your family and friends to enjoy traditional Japanese washi paper art, featuring works by both Japanese and Australian artists, alongside disability-inclusive art and hands-on workshops.
AJA volunteers will add some more Japanese feel to the the exhibition with some interactive origami and AJA will also be doing Japanese brush calligraphy, where you can have your western names written in kanji and hiragana.

About the Exhibition
This international cultural exchange project brings together artists from Japan and Australia while highlighting the social value of disability-inclusive art.
Through contemporary Washi art, the exhibition aims to foster mutual understanding between cultures and demonstrate how art can connect people beyond language, nationality and ability.
